Reference : TRT3122 (Triptych) Material : Oak wood Dimension Subjects : Jesus-Christ Central pannel : Merciful Christ Author and date : painted according to a vision of St. Faustina (1931 - 20th century) Lateral pannels : the chaplet of Divine Mercy and the ?Hour of Mercy? Left pannel : The Divine Mercy Chaplet taught by God to Saint Faustina on September 14, 1935. (The following prayers are recited on ordinary rosary beads.)
Begin with : Our Father?, Hail Mary?, The Apostles? Creed? On the large (Our Father) beads, say once :?Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.? On the small (Hail Mary) beads, say ten times : ?For the sake of His sorrowful passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.? At the end, say three times : ?Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.?
On January 28, 1938, Our Lord told Sister Faustina, ?My daughter, incite souls to say this chaplet which I have taught you. I am pleased to grant all that they will ask Me by means of this prayer? Write that if this chaplet is recited near a person in agony, I will stand between the Father and the agonizing soul? as the Merciful Savior.? Right pannel : The Hour of Mercy ?Remember, My daughter, that each time you hear the bell ring three o?clock, immerse yourself entirely in My mercy by adoring and glorifying it; call upon its omnipotence for the entire world and in particular for poor sinners, for at that moment it is wide open to all souls. In this hour you can obtain everything for yourself and for others for the asking; it was the hour of grace for the whole world, mercy triumphed over justice...?
?In this hour, step into the chapel for a moment and adore, in the Blessed Sacra-ment, My Heart, which is full of mercy; and should you be unable to step into the chapel, immerse yourself in prayer there where you happen to be, if only for a very brief instant.?
Words of Our Lord to Saint Faustina (Diary)
