Description Rosary of St. Joseph, imitation purple cultured pearls
Saint Joseph rosary in Bohemian glass imitation violet cultured pearls, and mother-of-pearl color for big grains with a diameter of 7 mm.
What is a cultured pearl?
The cultured pearl is obtained by introducing a nacre ball with a piece of epithelial cell into the oyster gonad. In this way we obtain white pearls, gray, golden from 2 to 20 mm. Natural pearls or fine pearls are produced without human intervention. As they become very rare they are replaced by cultured pearls.
The pearls used to make this Rosary of St. Joseph are genuine Bohemian glass that imitate the cultured pearl.
The big grains are also Bohemian glass mother-of-pearl. The result is very realistic and does not show the imitation side. This rosary of Saint Joseph remain unfasten.
The rosary is composed of small and large grains. Each has its specific function:
The following prayer is said about the big grains: "Saint Joseph, guardian of the Holy Family, bless our families"
the following invocation is about small grains:
"Saint Joseph, pray for us"
The rosary ends with the crucifix and the medal of Saint Joseph by the following invocations:
"Jesus, Mary, Joseph, I give you my heart and my soul.
Jesus, Mary, Joseph, assist me now and in my last agony.
Jesus, Mary, Joseph, may I breathe forth my soul in peace with you.
We can add the prayer of Hail Joseph.
Why triplets of grain?
The number three recalls both the three persons of the Holy Trinity and the "earthly Trinity" that is the Holy Family of Nazareth: Jesus, Mary, and Joseph.
In a prayer addressed to Saint Joseph for the defense and protection of the family, it is normal to refer in a more or less direct way to Jesus, Mary and Joseph.
Indeed, to put oneself under the protection of Saint Joseph is also to put oneself under the protection of Jesus and Mary.
Why fourteen triplets?
The number fourteen, twice seven, recalls the seven jewels and seven pains of St. Joseph. We have an icon of Saint Joseph which represents these seven jewels and seven pains: Icon of Saint Joseph I> U>
