The beads are made from fragrant rose petals.
Heart of the rosary: Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal
The Latin inscription on the medal reads "Regina sine labe orignali concepta O P N", meaning "O Queen conceived without original sin, pray for us".
This rosary comes from Spanish monastic craftsmanship: these beads are produced in a monastery in southern Spain; the nuns harvest the petals, press them into beads which are then mounted into a rosary. These rosaries give off a delicate, unalterable rose fragrance.
