Religious Frames

By offering paintings enhanced with a frame, we are not simply aiming for artistic added value, but a spiritual dimension:
- The work of installing the frame, like all monastic work, is an activity carried out in prayer; this adds a spiritual value that is difficult to perceive but very real.
- The gold trim found on some frames is not a trivial decoration: gold, in religious iconography, does not represent earthly wealth, but divine light, eternity, and the presence of the heavenly Kingdom. Therefore, the frame has a symbolic role, namely, to materialize the divine glory that we are called to contemplate, after death, in the beatific vision. Thus the frame allows us to create a visible link between the profane world and the invisible world of faith.
